University Terrace, Greenway Place, University Drive, Waterman Court and Rosedale Court
Off Campus

The University Apartments offer an interesting combination of apartment building and residential college living, with a few traditions of their own. Handed down from years past are the opening and closing BBQs, Blues and Cardinals games, a monthly newsletter, study breaks, cooking programs, and much more. Apartment residents are mostly juniors and seniors, with a handful of sophomores. Residents of the Off-Campus Apartments present many of the same benefits of the residents of upper-class suites as the On-Campus Apartments and suites on the South Forty. There are a few exciting things about the programming in the apartments. First, the entire program is growing and changing dramatically, and it is a place that the staff can have a profound impact on what goes on long after them. Second, the programming geared toward older students often more accurately reflects the interest and the needs of residents. These programs focus on Community Involvement, Academic & Professional Success, Life Skills and Critical Thinking Skills. This makes the design, planning, and implementation of these programs more appealing to upperclass residents. Finally, the North Side Association, which is a student government group representing residents of the North Side (the On-Campus Apartments, the Off-Campus Apartments, and the Village) provides unique opportunities for residents for residents to participate and get involved with continuing their leadership involvement and community connection. Currently, there are three RAs in Greenway Place, one RA in Waterman Court, two RAs in University Drive, two RAs in Rosedale Court, and two RAs in the University Terrace.
