This form is to be used for parties in a private suite/apartment common room. All parties must be registered in order to avoid fines and/or disciplinary action. A meeting with the Residential College Director and the party contacts must be scheduled, and this form completed by the Wednesday prior to the scheduled party.

This form must be submitted by the Wednesday at 5 p.m. before your scheduled party.

This form does NOT guarantee approval.

  Parties need to conclude by 11:00PM on weeknights, and by 1:00AM on weekends, the designated Quiet Hour times.

*** YOU MUST SUPPLYAN ALPHABETIZED GUEST LIST OF WU STUDENTS AND THEIR VISITORS AT YOUR MEETING WITH YOUR RCD.***
These are the guidelines of the Washington University Alcohol Policy:
  • Carding for legal age must occur at all events, persons not having identification that they are of legal age shall not be served alcoholic beverages.
  • Only one drink may be served at a time.
  • Non-alcoholic beverages must be easily accessible and attractive.
  • Non-salty foods must be plentiful and available.
  • Everclear or grain alcohol punches are prohibited.
  • Kegs are prohibited.
  • Progressive alcohol parties (i.e., room to room, floor to floor etc.) are prohibited.
  • Consumption of alcohol in public spaces (i.e., lounges, the Swamp, etc.) is prohibited.
  • No advertising of alcohol.
  • The names of at least two responsible contact persons who will be in attendance throughout the event are to be specified below.

Two Party contacts must agree to take responsibility for this event and to abide by all University and Residence Hall Policies. You are also agreeing to be responsible for the behavior of those in attendance, including noise, garbage, damage, etc.

All occupants of the room/suite/apartment who will be participating in the party must sign on the following page to indicate their awareness that a party is occurring and to take full responsibility for the event and all those in attendance.
Failure to comply with any of these policies or failure to be responsible for your guests will result in your suite's party privileges being revoked.

Please list three dates and times both party contacts can meet with your RCD to approve this registration. These times must be during normal business hours, which are Monday - Friday, 8:30am-5pm. This form needs to be submitted by at least 5pm on the Wednesday before the party is to take place.
